Sunday October 26th is our Finale for the 2008 Season. And if the weather is good to us, we'll be treated with the fabulous Michael Arenella Dreamland Orchestra. Our last event on Saturday Sept 20th turned out superb as we had well over 100 dancers drop in throughout the sunny warm afternoon. Although our band cancelled, our sound system took over once we got the electricity flowing. Thanks for coming out everyone and stay tuned as we'll be posting photos and links shortly which will include the impromptu Ninja Performance. See Rics latest Blog from our Sept 20th event!

Saturday September 20th is our next event. The forecast is for Sunny Skies and 71 degrees. Our band has cancelled on us but we are presently searching for a replacement. Regardless, the event is on and we will be out there positively with DJ equipment at the very least.

Next Up is Saturday September 20th 2:00pm - 5:30pm Featuring Ben Wood's Franglais Trio. Should be fun and we're expecting another performance from the Balbusters Balboa Group. Our last event on August 31st was a hit and we were really treated to some great weather.

They are preparing an episode focused on dance in the city. So if you like being on camera, here is your chance to shine! June 15th Turned out to be a surprisingly fun and sunny day. Over 50 dancers attended and despite the loss of the band due to the sketchy weather, we still had the DJ music and kept it going well past our planned end time! Thanks for sticking around everyone as it was well worth the wait. Photos are up of June 15th Event!

On with DJ Music Today!
DUE To a last minute unexpected rainfall at 12:30pm today, we made a difficult decision and sent the band home. We are however out here, there at 50 dancers+ and we're playing DJ until 4pm Today!

Sunday June 15th with Live Music Featuring the John Malino Trio
Reminder that this event starts at 1pm and goes only till 4pm ( Due To a Summer Stage Event ). See the excellent weather predictions for Sunny Skies and a comfortable 80 degrees from 1:00pm on! If you made it to our Season Opener on May 11th, you got to experience the Blue Vipers outdoors! We had over 60 dancers in attendance and the Blue Vipers made this day very memorable.

We are pleased to announce that this Sunday May 11th for our Season Opener, we expect to have the Blue Vipers of Brooklyn as our live band. THIS EVENT IS CONFIRMED!
Please be generous with your donations this Sunday! Donations go directly towards the band and the permits for these events.
Central Park Swings is an outdoor swing music concert and dance open to the public. The music and dancing is live and it's all held at the Band Shell in Central Park, NYC. There is a featured dance lesson at the start and it's all FREE! You can come just to enjoy the music or you can break out your own dance steps. All of our events are permitted through NYC Parks and Recreation. Events are subject to cancellation due to weather so stay tuned to this website for last minute updates.
